March 4, 2010, Jury Verdict in Boston awards Plaintiff $1,500,000.00 against table saw manufacturer Ryobi. The Judgment was obtained by a team of lawyers who are also working with Cushing Law Offices against Ryobi and other table saw manufacturers for amputation injuries.

Table Saw Settlement
After years of struggling with one of the largest power tool manufacturers in the world, the Cushing Law Offices obtained a substantial settlement on behalf of a man who severed four fingers while using a table saw for a home improvement project. The victim was wearing safety goggles and had the blade guard in place at the time of the incident. The Cushing firm was able to show that the saw industry has known for years how to make the saws more safe, and further, that a safer design has been available and used in Europe for over a decade.

$16.5 Million Jury Verdict in Duragesic Fentanyl Trial
On November 17, 2008, Cushing Law Offices achieved a $16,560,000 verdict for the family of a Cicero, Illinois woman who died while wearing a Duragesic fentanyl transdermal pain patch. After a 3 week trial, a Chicago jury found two Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries liable for the death of 38-year-old Janice DiCosolo, a mother of three.
